Who We Are

McGivern's was founded in 1980 by Michael & Joseph McGivern. Over 30 years later, we are proud to say it is still a family business, and we are still at the same location. Keep in mind, when you call us at McGivern Diamonds - you will almost always be speaking with a McGivern.

What We Do

McGivern Diamonds is a direct diamond importer. Several times a year we travel overseas, primarily to Tel Aviv, Israel, to buy direct from the cutters. By importing directly, and in large quantities, we are able to buy our diamonds for substantially less, and thus can pass along the savings. We specialize in selling GIA certified diamonds - the industry standard, at direct importer prices. Our online diamond database is one of the largest in the country.

When you deal with us, you are not only dealing with a diamond importer, but a gemologist and manufacturer as well. We have two full time gemologists (GIA) on staff, so you assured of dealing with a knowledgeable staff. We also do complete manufacturing at our Perrysburg location. We make everything from the very simple and traditional, to the very unique "one of a kind" pieces. Our manufacturing facilities gives us a big price advantage as well, as we do not have to buy from some other supplies, we are the supplier! This translates into big savings for you, the customer, as you have all the advantages of buying "factory direct".

What We Sell

Perhaps it would be easier to list what we do not sell. We do not sell or service watches, sterling silver, or costume jewelry. We offer an extensive line of 10K, 14K, 18K and platinum jewelry. We sell chains, bracelets, and earrings as well as a full line of gemstone jewelry including emerald, ruby, sapphire, amethyst, garnet, topaz, opal and many more. GIA Certified diamonds however, remain our specialty. We have a large selection of loose diamonds from .10 ct. to over 5 cts. We also have many engagement rings and other settings to accommodate these diamonds. Other diamond jewelry we offer includes anniversary rings, tennis bracelets, earrings, pendants, slides and about anything else you can imagine.
